LGBTQ+ speed dating in Sydney: Oh Hi's queer night is on Tuesday 8 December 2026, 7pm to 9pm, at a bar near Newtown station, for gay, lesbian, bi, trans, non-binary and queer singles aged 25–45. It's one open room with no women's or men's sides: twelve six-minute conversations, then a mingle, and you tick “date” or “friend” for anyone you'd like to see again. Seats from $45 to $65, fully refundable until the evening.

- Up to 24 LGBTQ+ singles aged 25–45, all genders. One open room, no sides.

- Early bird $45 · Standard $55 · Last seats $65, plus a small booking fee. The early-bird seats are limited and go first. Drinks at bar prices.

How does the evening run?
- Arrive, get a drink, and find your host. You'll get a name card, a match card and a seat letter, A or B.
- A two-minute welcome, then twelve six-minute conversations. The As stay seated and the Bs move one table along at each bell, so there are no sides to pick.
- A short interval at halfway.
- Cards go in, then the reserved area stays ours for a mingle, so you can meet the half of the room you didn't sit with.
- On your card, tick “date” or “friend”. Mutual ticks get each other's first name and email at 9am the next morning.
